Choc Hazelnut Collagen Slice

Makes 16 small slices - I cut them this way so they are suitable sizes for my children. An adult's serve is really two of the small slices which is 11.9g of protein 😯 This is a great amount of protein for a snack food!


Ingredients:

2/3 cup pepitas


2/3 cup Cell Squared collagen


1/2 cup hazelnuts


1/3 cup cacao powder


8 medjool dates


4.5 tbsp butter OR coconut oil for dairy free


2 tbsp cacao nibs




1) Blitz the pepitas, collagen, hazelnuts, and cacao powder together in a food processor until fine



2) Melt the butter/coconut oil over a low heat



3) Remove the pits from the medjool dates and add them to the dry mixture with the butter/coconut oil



4) Process in the food processor again until well combined



5) Scoop the mixture out of the processor and into a lined baking tray. Press firmly to form the slice



7) Place into the freezer to set for 30 minutes, then remove & slice



8) Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days
